NTJWC Meeting

Guest speaker from The Spring

GFWC New Tampa Junior Woman’s Club (NTJWC)is a 501 (c) 3, non-profit organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.

Our club year runs from August-May, and we meet the 2nd Monday of the month at the New Tampa YMCA located at 16221 Compton Dr, Tampa, FL 33647. It is a great opportunity to meet some new friends while giving your time to worthy causes. You can volunteer 25 hours or 1000 hours…the choice is yours on how involved you would like to be.

NTJWC is one of the largest FFWC clubs in the State of Florida, and has won numerous prestigious state awards over the years. During the 2008-2009 club year we donated over $27,000 and 10,000 volunteer hours in over 50 projects.

Over the years we have had several members serve on the State Board. We currently have 5 members in state positions.

Night of 5000 logoEach spring we host The Night of 5000 Charity Ball which raises money for a selected charity and funds the club projects for the following year. This past year’s featured charity was Camp Hopetake.
