Guest speaker from The Spring
Our club year runs from August-May, and we meet the 2nd Monday of the month at the New Tampa YMCA located at 16221 Compton Dr, Tampa, FL 33647. It is a great opportunity to meet some new friends while giving your time to worthy causes. You can volunteer 25 hours or 1000 hours…the choice is yours on how involved you would like to be.
NTJWC is one of the largest FFWC clubs in the State of Florida, and has won numerous prestigious state awards over the years.
In 2011 our club reported 8,299 service hours. In addition to the hours we gave away over $25,000 in cash to charity plus over $13,500 in in-kind donations.
Over the years we have had several members serve on the State Board. We currently have 5 members in state positions.
Each spring we host The Night of 5000 Charity Ball which raises money for a selected charity and funds the club projects for the following year. This past year’s featured charity was Camp Hopetake.

About GFWC
Since it was founded in 1890, the General Federation of Women’s Clubs has been a unifying force, bringing together local women’s clubs from around the country and throughout the world.
Although there is considerable diversity in the ages, interests, and experiences of GFWC clubwomen, all are united by a dedication to community improvement through volunteer service.
